Head Coach Joshua Jock, a 2002 & 2003 graduate of SUNY Potsdam, has been a USA Swimming Coach since January 2007 and Head Coach of Northern TRIBS Swimming (NTS) since January 2009.  Coach Jock has previously coached at the High School Varsity level and is now the Assistant Swimming Coach at SUNY Potsdam and the Director of the Bears Competitive Swimming Lessons.

Members of TRIBS have participated in USA Swimming Competitions and qualified for Long and Short course Gold Championships, Zones; qualified for the NYSPHSAA State Championships; and have competed at the Empire State Games.

This summer Coach Jock will also Direct an overnight Swim Camp at SUNY Potsdam July 18^th – 23^rd. More details to come!

Joshua will continue to Asst. the SUNY Potsdam Men and Womens Swimming Team this Fall, Direct the Bear’s Competitive Swimming Lessons and will be Coaching TRIBS throughout the year.

Joshua has a Bachelors degree in Theatre and a Masters of Science in Elementary Education. While attending SUNY Potsdam, Joshua swam in finaled at DIiv.III SUNYAC Championshipsfor the 100 and 200 backstroke including the 400Medley & Freestyle Relays. Joshua continues to swim and also competes during US Masters Swimming (USMS) as an Adirondack District (ADMS) member.
