A little history...

NTS was co-founded in 2007 by the brother and sister team of Joshua and Jessica Jock. After several years of bouncing around from school to school such as Salmon, Brasher, and Massena for facility use, TRIBS has found a new home in Potsdam. TRIBS has been growing thanks to feeder programs such as the Bears Swim Club at SUNY Potsdam.

Joshuua Jock has been the Head Coach of Northern TRIBS Swimming since 2009 and this is his third season as the Asst Swim Coach at SUNY Potsdam. At SUNY Potsdam, Joshua is the instructor for the Bears Swim Club's Competitive Swim Program. He also is the camp director for he Potsdam Swim Camp and directs the Potsdam Triathlon in September. Needless to say he spends alot of time on the pool deck helping to build swimming in our area.
